Beautiful Things

We drift amid beautiful things.
Petals, rainy rivers, misty lenses slightly out of focus —and blue– deep, dark beautiful blue.

      1. I am all for soups starting in fall. What better way to kick off than with pumpkin! Thank You, Wendy! Wish I could have shared it with you (in more than pictures 😉)

  1. Hues that fit so well with my chilly autumn Sunday ~ although nothing could match the beauty of what you’ve recorded here W., wonderful. The second shot is such a perfect match for the first, complementing yet contrasting, just perfect. Cheers to you and a great weekend.

    1. Thank you very much 🙂 I love this time of year- that always seems to lend to a more contemplative state of mind. I feel that we always find ourselves more alive—weightless in fleeting moments of unsurpassed beauty – the feel of petals, twilight, dewy mornings washed in ravishing rays — or eating peanut butter off a spoon under late night stars enjoying an endless horizon. Cheers Randy~ hopefully you’ll find yourself in a few such moments this season. 🙂

      1. I feel the same with autumn, while there is still a lot to do and I enjoy the autumn weather, there is more time to contemplate things. The lighting is more colorful/special. And it is hilarious that you mention peanut butter off a spoon as I just made a small road trip here in Czech to buy all the jars of peanut butter this store had. Of all the nice things here, they do not eat peanut butter which is a daily necessity for me 🙂 Cheers to you Wendy, enjoy the week ahead.
