Stranded

boneyard copy
I found these two handsome guys trying to blend in with the landscape ~ hiding in the shadow of a few rusty Tonka Toys … I might not have noticed them, if they hadn’t forgotten to wear their sunnies… Rust is a beautiful thing!

  2. Great photos of a couple of real classics. Too bad they are just sitting and rusting, but then we have two classic VW beetles and a 1960 Rambler American in about the same shape as that Carmen Ghia we don’t have the time or money to restore.

    • πŸ™‚ Thank you! I drive past these guys everyday on my way to work and today… I stopped, hung over the fence and took my best shots. I don’t have much experience with “car photography” so I’m happy you like them~ you’re an expert!! πŸ˜‰

      • Your photos were well worth the effort! It’s interesting how we will drive by great photo opps all the time and don’t take the time to stop and take a few shots. I wouldn’t say that I am an expert in much of anything, but I do know good photos when I see them, and I do a lot of drive by car shots so I guess you could say I’m experienced;)
